DIY Flocked Christmas Tree

I have always wanted one of these gorgeous trees, however they come with a hefty price tag, at least more than my budget allows for a tree. needless to say I have always just admired them on display in the store and kept it moving with my $50 tree.
Seeing how I am trying to decorating my home in a chic, modern farmhouse style I figured a flocked tree would fit perfectly and so my brain went to churning and since I cant purchase one, maybe I can make my own. I have purchased the spray can frost before to spray wreaths for a company Christmas party centerpieces, while that did the job, the frost was very thin and dusty and just made a mess on the tables, so I know I did not want that. A quick google search pull up exactly what I was looking for "The Original Sno Flock" (Click) from amazon had great reviews but when I went to order they were sold out. When I get my mind set on something its hard to let it go or switch the plan sometimes, however after a not so quick search I found "Snow Bond" and the reviews and pictures looked great. So I ordered it and I could not wait to get started.
Here is my original tree before the flocking.

I forgot to put the whole tree together before I started the flocking so the bottom level is partially flocked already.

The process was very simple, the direction are very self explanatory. You will need a sifter and a spray bottle that has a mist nozzle and I would highly suggest putting down a plastic tarp. I did not and there is snow adhesive on my garage floor now.
Hold the sifter over the tree, while misting shake out the snow onto the tree over the mist simultaneously and that is it repeat until you have the desired amount of flock. Let the tree dry completely before you take it into the house.

We kept the tree pretty simple this year in terms of decor, only using our wooden, gold and pewter colored ornaments, although I did intend on purchasing more to fill in for all the ones we weren't using. Yeah it just did not happen, every time I would go into a store I didn't see exactly what I wanted so it became less and less of a priority, but I think it still turned out great. I did however purchased a wooden star wall decor piece from Joann's and turned it into my tree topper instead of using the gold light up one we own.
By the way I purchased 2 pounds of flock. It was enough to do my entire 6.5 ft tree, all my garland and 3 wreaths and I only used about 1 pound of the flock so there is plenty left over to refresh the tree next year or even flock a few more things.

Comment below and let me know what you think. I would love to see you all's tree and Christmas decor as well.
